Design of Complementary Hexagonal Metamaterial Based HMSIW Band-Pass Filter and Reconfigurable SIW Filter Using PIN Diodes

چکیده

This paper is divided into two sections, in the first section, a new SIW and half-mode band-pass filters based on complementary hexagonal metamaterial cells (C-HMCs) are proposed. Firstly, analyzed case of using C-HMC four these cells. Secondly, HMSIW tunable BPF studied optimized. The size half mode reduced by almost 50%. filter design has very high insertion loss about -0.4 dB, significant transmission bandwidth extending from 5.9 GHz to 6.5 GHz. In second section this paper, an electronically reconfigurable By implementing PIN diodes gaps C-HMC, results turning ON or OFF individually switching frequency center, between 5.8 6.8 Also, dual band with centers at (5.6 7.4 GHz) achieved both ON. addition, properties all proposed investigated presented work.
